S&P NetAdvantage places each publicly traded company in one of the predetermined industries.
Many of the industry surveys are updated each six months. However, some industry reports are not current as S&P has revised their industry surveys over the years.
All the industry surveys contain the same format as to information provided but suggestions for analysis and additional sources vary from industry to industry.
According to S&P NetAdvantage, these are the major industry classifications of the companies:
