Dedicated Graduate Study Spaces

SERVICES UPDATE!

Dedicated graduate study rooms are available on a "first-come, first-served" basis.

  • The Graduate Study Room (rm 442) accommodates an 8-person group. Visit the library's Circulation/Reserve Desk, in person, to ask for the room key. If available, a group can use the room for up to two hours each day.
  • The Graduate Study Carrels Room (rm 444) is a dedicated quiet space with twelve, individual cubicles. Absolute silence is expected in this room (no talking, etc.). To access the room, ask for a room key at the library's Circulation/Reserve Desk.
  • With the recent completion of the library's 4th floor renovation project, these "first come, first served" rooms for graduate students are available again.
  • For policies, room descriptions, and fines when room keys are not returned to the Circulation Desk on time, see Study Rooms.

Study rooms for any Baruch student (undergraduate or graduate) to reserve:

  • There are 30 group study rooms that can be reserved by any Baruch student. Small rooms accommodate up to 3 people and large rooms accommodate up to 8 people. Use the online reservation system to reserve a room for up to 2 hours daily. (The Graduate Group Study Room is not available to reserve in advance.)
  • There are two Presentation Practice rooms that can be reserved by any Baruch student. These rooms replicate podiums in classrooms so you can practice your presentations.
  • For policies, room descriptions, and fines when room keys are not returned to the Circulation Desk on time, see Study Rooms.
