The United States Department of Agriculture through its Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) and Economic Research Service (ERS) collects the official U.S. govenment statistics on international agricultural trade and provides research on agricultural commodities.

Quarterly Agricultural Export Forecast

USDA FAS - Data and Analysis
Four databases from the USDA FAS:
ESR- Export Sales Reporting with information on U.S. export sales, by commodity and country of destination, updated weekly.
GAIN - Global Agricultural Information Network offers issue analysis from FAS's overseas offices.
GATS -Global Agricultural Trade system with current and historical data on international trade in agricultural, fish, forest and textile products.
PS&D- Data on production, supply and distribution of agricultural commodities for the U.S. and key producing and consuming countries.
USDA/FAS Commodities and Products

USDA ERS Data Products
From the Economic Research Service of the USDA., in-depth reports on the economic issues affecting the markets for various crops and animal products. Data sets include international baseline projections for supply, demand, and trade for major agricultural commodities for selected countries and agricultural exchange rate data.
