Always Use the "APA PsycInfo" Database
- On library home page, click "Databases" link
- On "Databases" page, click the gray "A-B" tab to get to part of page listing databases beginning with those letters

- On the "A-B" page, find the link for "APA PsycInfo" and click it
Search Tips
Use quotation marks around phrases for more precise searching
- INSTEAD OF: attachment theory
- USE: "attachment theory"
Put separate concepts in separate search boxes

Type "OR" to add tightly related concepts or alternate spellings in a search box

Use the "Refine Results" on the left side of the search results page to:
- Limit to just "Academic Journals" (all articles will be from peer-reviewed journals)
- Specify the age range of the subject of the article
- Specify the gender of the subject of the article
- Specify the methodology (article type)

Click one of the "subjects" in the record to find all items tagged with that term
