Passport (Euromonitor)
This library database provides socio-economic data, population estimates and forecasts with analysis and commentary, and population pyramids. Remote access is limited to Baruch affiliates.

Search the UN's data depository, which includes demographic and socio-economic data for all the world's countries from several UN agencies (including the Population Statistics Division and WHO) or browse through the datasets.

World Bank Data
Time series data for over 200 countries with over 300 different indicators. This public website was launched in Aug 2010 and replaces their proprietary database (WDI).

ICPSR
ICPSR maintains and provides access to a vast archive of social science data for supporting quantitative research, primarily secondary analysis, encompassing a range of academic disciplines, including political science, sociology, demography, history, economics, international relations, gerontology, public health, criminal justice, and education. Data files and documentation can be downloaded, but you must register to use the site.
