Once you find a book in the catalog, jot down the call number and go to the floor where it's located. Browsing is possible as books are shelved by subject.

If you are not able to find a specific book when using the library's catalog, try searching catalogs at other libraries. We recommend searching the NYPL catalog first. You can also search WorldCat, but you will need to use the library's interlibrary loan services if you find a book at another library system (Baruch's ILL is here, other CUNY affiliates must use ILL at your college's library).
