The book reading and discussion, and the talk by Dionne Ford, are sponsored through the efforts of Chief Diversity Office Mona Jha, of Baruch's Office of Diversity, Compliance & Equity Initiatives and the Coalition to Reduce Racism at Baruch (CURB).

CURB consists of faculty and staff who have attended Undo Racism training offered by the People's Institute for Survival and Beyond.  CURB meets monthly to discuss and plan events for students, faculty and staff to address racism.  A contact person for information is member Elizabeth Merrick, elizabeth.merrick@baruch.cuny.edu .
