Tips for Finding Women's Studies Books

Each print book is assigned a call number designating both its subject area and its place on the shelf.
Many Women's Studies books are assigned call numbers beginning with HQ and are located on the 4th floor of the library.
However, since Women's Studies topics are often cross-disciplinary, you may find books with call numbers for a different subject area and located on a different area or floor.

Go here for a Newman Library call number chart and to learn how to find books using call numbers.
