NYC Government Publications

Government Publications Portal
This portal provides the public with a permanent, searchable online repository of New York City government’s publications. Beginning in 2006 agencies were required to send digital reports to the Municipal Library at the Department of Records and Information Services (DORIS).

The search box is on the top of the Government Publications Portal web page.
Click on "More options" next to the search box to limit your search by agency, fiscal or calendar year, and more.

NYC Open Data
This clearinghouse culls together both GIS and tabular data sets from several city agencies.

Statista
Statistical information on over 600 industries from over 10,000 different sources, such as market researchers, trade organizations, scientific publications, and government sources. You may need to clear your browser cache to access this or use a browser in "private" or "incognito" mode.

Social Explorer
Allows you to create thematic maps and download current and historical data. Baruch has a subscription to the full database - a more limited version is freely available on the web

NYC Maps Gallery
A variety of web maps produced by city agencies that display city features, services, and phenomena (311 requests, crime, tax parcels, zoning, street closures, and more).
NYCityMap
A map interface hosted by the City of New York for accessing a variety of data about individual properties or neighborhoods. Pulls data from a number of city agencies and from the census, and provides links to direct sources of data.
NYC Oasis
An interactive map interface that allows you to access a variety of information about the city, including city services, property data, zoning, and land use. Hosted by the CUNY Center for Urban Research.
