Essential facts about a merger deal include the target and acquirer name, the dates the merger was announced and completed, and the deal value.

Use Bloomberg, Thomson One, or Mergerstat in the NexisUni database to identify deal facts.

Nexis Uni
Mergerstat covers U.S. transactions and cross border transactions involving a U.S. parent company where the equity value is greater than $1 million and represents at least a 10 percent interest.
For Mergerstat data select Menu then Company Dossier. Type the company name. Select Company Activities and then Mergers.
Bloomberg Professional
