Resources available to Baruch faculty and students relating to public and internal audits; auditing standards; professional associations and firms and private and public agencies web sites; databases for books, news, and research relating to auditing.

About this Guide

Resources in this guide are available to help  Baruch students and faculty learn about auditing standards, public and internal auditing, and research on U.S. and international global auditing issues available through library resources and websites.

Which resources should  you use?  This will depend upon your assignment; whether you need to find an auditing standard, have an interview for an auditing position,  are researching a current audit event or an audit failure that happened in the past, or if you are just looking for news articles or research publications.  Some resources offer alerts so  you can receive new information as soon as it become available.

Need the FASB Accounting Standards Codification or IFRS Financial Reporting Standards?

Separate guides show how Baruch students and faculty may access FASB Codification of Accounting Standards and the International Financial Accounting Standards and resources that help interpret their application:
