Graduate study carrels (cubicles) are located in room 444, an enclosed, quiet room. Keys are available at the Circulation Desk.
Group Study Rooms are throughout the library. Check availability and reserve a room up to one day in advance online, or ask about rooms at the Circualtion Desk on the 2nd floor. Keys are available at the Circulation Desk for a 3 hour loan. Smaller rooms accomodate two people, larger rooms can accomodate between six to eight people. Room 442 has been reserved for graduate group study only. Groups can renew keys if another group is not waiting.
StudyPods are located on the 3rd floor, near the Laptop Loan Desk. This space has 17 semi-private cubicles (StudyPods) with comfortable chairs and outlets for your laptops.
The Presentation Practice Room is located in Room 636 (in the 6th floor BCTC computing lab), but the keys are available at the library's Circulation/Reserve Desk. In this room, 6-8 students can practice their class presentations using the same technology (podium, projector, computer) that is found in Baruch's smart classrooms.
Seating is available on all floors of the library. Seating areas on the upper level floors and near windows tend to be better for quiet study.
