S&P Capital IQ: How to Access

Off-Campus Access During COVID-19 Library Closure

S&P has allowed us to extend off-campus access to Baruch students and Baruch faculty for summer 2020. This offer is only available to students currently enrolled at Baruch College and to current Baruch faculty.

Instructions for Baruch faculty

  • Baruch faculty who want to arrange access for students in their class should provide a class list, with students’ names, Baruch email addresses (required) and course number to Ryan Phillips at ryan.phillips@baruch.cuny.edu. These lists will be forwarded to S&P and students will receive individual password and login information.
  • Baruch faculty who wish to set up access for themselves should also contact Ryan Phillips at ryan.phillips@baruch.cuny.edu and mention what department they are in.

Instructions for Baruch students

  • If you are in a class where your professor is requiring you to use S&P Capital IQ, please let your professor know that there are instructions above about how they can request access for the entire class.
  • Individual students wishing to gain access to S&P Capital IQ must use their Baruch email account to send a message to Librarian Ryan Phillips at ryan.phillips@baruch.cuny.edu. That message must include the following information:
    • Your name
    • Baruch email address
    • Whether you are a undergraduate or graduate student
    • Undergraduate major or name of graduate program
    • Status (freshman, sophomore, graduate student, etc.)
