POL 2260: Intro to Comparative Government - Prof. Johnson, Fall 2020

How to search for books in electronic format and some books that are available.

The books shown below are available as e-books. You can read them through the links available below. To locate other online books, search OneSearch, which offers the full-text of books, as well as articles and reports.

To limit your search to books, make that selection among the options at the far right by changing "All Items" to books.

You may search by known titles, or author, or by keywords that represent the main concepts you are researching, such as Venezuela and national election, or South Korean and political parties and election.   You may also limit your search to specific years, such as from 2016 to 2020.

Baruch does not have an extensive collection of books on current foreign national elections.  Books take longer to write and get published so articles in newspapers and journals may be more helpful.  Books are full of references though and they may be very helpful for your assignment.

To gain access to the full-texts of books off campus, you will need to enter your Baruch user name and password.

If you have forgotten it, you can check it at the link below.  If you still have problems, contact the BCTC help desk by email.

If you are still having trouble, email the Baruch College Technology Center helpdesk at helpdesk@baruch.cuny.edu.
