Room Supply - measured by new construction and new rooms added

The Census Bureau publishes a monthly press release on the Value of Construction Put in Place.

Revenues - measured by rates charged and RevPAR

Average Daily Rate is the average rate charged for rooms occupied during a period.

RevPAR, revenue per available room, is calculated by multiplying the average room price by the number of rooms available, by the occupancy rate. this takes into account the cost of rooms available but not occupied.

Occupancy Rate is the percentage of hotel rooms occupied during a period.

Property Value - measured by the capitalization rate 

Capitalization Rate is the average weighted rate of return from hotel property.
